Gems From Aesop’s Fables

gems from aesop's fablesFrom a child, I have loved listening to Aesop’s Fables.  Those stories have answered so many questions that I had questions about.  My grandparents knew that when I had a disagreement about if I should have to do certain chores, if they told me to just do it that it wouldn’t teach me anything.  However, if they were to tell me a story why, it would change me mind for years to come.  My mother knew that she wanted to teach me a lot as a child.  She knew that Aesop’s Fables were the better stories to read at bedtime because there was always some value to learn from it.  As children we get a lot of our values from the people that are around us everyday.  We grow up learning from our environment.  Adding stories from Aesop’s Fables into everyday life teaches children how to handle difficult situations and helps them to be ready for what life has to throw at them.
